Email is not a secure form of communication. To ensure your privacy, any information contained in Emails should be limited to scheduling, billing, and administrative information only. Dr. Cluff will not discuss clinical matters over Email.
With the demands of work and family we know how difficult it is to make your appointments in person. Or if you are in remote areas in B.C. and don’t have access to experienced mental health professionals. For clients using Skype, please note that this is not a strictly secure form of communication. We recommend that you only attend sessions via Skype when using your personal computer in a private location.
Dr. Cluff does not maintain public social media accounts. She may periodically post to her blog and/or YouTube channel. Information posted to these platforms is not meant to replace professional psychological or medical advice. Please refrain from communicating with Dr. Cluff about clinical matters online. If you wish to speak to her directly, please phone the office and book an appointment at your earliest convenience.
Dr. Cluff may terminate therapy services at her discretion. Termination may be considered appropriate if:
• Treatment goals have been reached and therapy is no longer needed
• Dr. Cluff does not believe that she can provide you with effective treatment
• Your needs are outside the scope of the experience or training of Dr. Cluff
• You fail to comply with the treatment recommendations of Dr. Cluff
• A conflict of interest develops
• You fail to pay your fees on a timely basis
• You or Dr. Cluff believes it is in your best interest
If you or Dr. Cluff decides to terminate therapy, then at least one closure session is recommended.
